Burts Bees Natural blush

Hello folks! I’m here with another beauty review! Today I want to talk about these Burts Bees Natural blushes! I got 2 shades–Bare Peach, and Shy Pink. The website claims are:

“Our 100% natural, mineral Blush Makeup applies and blends easily and evenly to enhance your cheeks’ natural glow. The lightweight formula brings together Bamboo, Honey and Vitamin E to nourish skin for beautifully radiant results.”

I must say, all the claims are spot on. These blushes make the skin glow with the slightest sheen, and although they appear matte, they aren’t!

I adore the honeycomb pattern in the pan, and the simple packaging. They are so smooth and blend-able. I feel like Burts Bees products have always been the truly quality, and dependable items at the Drugstore. These blushes are the same. It’s making me want to try other makeup items from the line!

Left with Flash, right is no Flash.

I have used these blushes for about a week now, every day. They last my whole work day, and I notice minimal fading by hour 9 or 10. I demand a lot from my makeup, since I usually have face makeup on for at least 11 hours a day, and these really keep up!

Have any of you tried other Burts Bees makeup items? Let me know what you think of them!

Glossier Cloud paints

Good morning bloggers! I originally posted this review on my Instagram a while ago, but now I feel I’ve had them long enough to give my full thoughts.

The Glossier Could Paints are easy to use cream blushes that blend out well with either your fingers or a beauty sponge. They deliver a very realistic flush to the cheeks, and the colours are just beautiful!

My biggest gripe with this product is the layering aspect. If you are wearing little to no base product, that’s the way to go. These will blend, and not conflict with any powders or contour colours you use afterwards. Whenever I have a full face of makeup on, which is most days, to be honest, these just don’t cut it.

Whatever contour or highlight I put on top or under these blushes become choppy and don’t blend well.

I absolutely LOVE these cloud paints on the natural days. The days where I’m brows, mascara, and balm. The days I want to look like I cared, but didn’t. I’m sure we can all agree, these are the best days. But for the average workday, or day/night out I want a little more coverage and a bit more blendability.

Sephora VIB mini haul!

So…I have a makeup addiction. As much as I love Asian and Korean skincare, my makeup addiction is straight up western. It has been a love and hobby of mine for going on 4 years now. Much older than my more recent obsession with skincare. Well, with my skin aging a bit (I’m in my late 20’s) I realized I needed to step up my skincare game.

That doesn’t mean I’m letting my first love, makeup, fall to the wayside. In my little haul, I got:

Too faced Peach perfect comfort matte foundation (Shade Porcelain)–Still trying this out, but I LOVE the finish this gives. My only gripe so far is the shade selection. There isn’t an undertone that fits me, and there aren’t even that many shades to chose from. Ugh.

IT Cosmetics CC Illumination (shade Fair)–While the shade match is on Point for me personally, there’s still an issue because there’re only about 6 shades total in this line. Very silly for a big brand to only have that many shades. BUT, the actual product is so nice. It does have SHIMMER… a lot of shimmer. It’s an illuminating foundation, and they weren’t kidding, Hahaha.

Kat Von D Shade and Light contour palette– A Beautiful face palette! I bought this mostly to replace the contour shades I’ve already gone through, and I’m so happy I went with this one. Perfectly gray, and not too warm toned-this contour palette really delivers.

Kat Von D Everlasting liquid lipstick in Ophelia–My new favorite nude! Amazing classic formula, with great color payoff.
